FAQ

What should I wear?
Smart attire. If you want to go a little festive, you're merry welcome!

Is there parking at the venue?
There's no parking at either venue, but several 24-hour public car parks are located within a 5 to 10-minute walk. The closest council-run 24/7 option is London Road Car Park (AL1 1NG), which costs around £17.50 for 24 hours.

Can I bring a plus one / are kids invited?
This will be an adults-only celebration, with the exception of children of close family. We'd love to extend the invitation to plus ones too, but unfortunately we have limited capacity at the venue, thank you for understanding.

Where should we stay?
There are plenty of accommodation options for all budgets in and around St Albans. It's also very well connected to London. The Thameslink runs all night, taking around 20 minutes to King's Cross.

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive at 3pm for the ceremony at 3:30pm. The reception follows straight after, and it’s just a short 4-minute walk down the road.

Is the ceremony/reception accessible?
Yes, both the Lady Chapel and the reception venue are fully wheelchair accessible.

What about gifts?
We don’t have a traditional gifts registry, but we do have a honeymoon fund. Your presence at our wedding is truly all we ask for, but if you'd still like to contribute, you're welcome to do so
